Re-membering tradition: How can our past support our future?

What can the past teach us about living well today?

So much of modern life asks us to find new solutions to the challenges we face. But what if some of the wisdom we need already exists in the traditions, practices and relationships that came before us?

On October 1, we’re coming together with Soil to Grow for Re-membering tradition: How our past can support our future, a hands-on workshop exploring the traditions and lineages that have shaped us, what they can still teach us, and how we might adapt them for the world we live in now.

Together, we’ll reflect on questions such as:

What traditions or practices have we lost touch with?

Which parts still feel meaningful today?

And what new practices might emerge when people with different backgrounds and experiences share their wisdom with one another?

The workshop will be facilitated by Athanasios Christopoulos, biologist and facilitator behind Soil to Grow, whose work explores regeneration, resilience and the mental models that shape how we relate to ourselves, each other and the living world.
